MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/02/17)--- Greta Walsh and Jenna Januschka capped their senior seasons by earning MIAC All-Conference honors. Walsh was named to the MIAC All-Conference Team for the first time in her career while Januschka was named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Junior Cassidy Rahman was the team's selection for the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

It is the third time in her career that Walsh has earned MIAC postseason honors. She was named to the MIAC All-First-Year Team as a freshman and then last year she earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.

Walsh led the Cobbers in scoring, field goals made, 3-point field goals made, assists and steals in conference play. She averaged 16.2 points per game in the team's 18 league contests. She knocked down 98 field goals and 26 shots from the arc while dishing out 44 assists and taking away 30 steals.

Walsh scored at least 10 points in 16 of the Cobbers' 18 MIAC games. She came away with a season-high 28 points against St. Catherine on Dec. 7. Walsh also had five games where she scored at least 20 points in a game.

Walsh finished the year with the third highest points per game total in the MIAC in conference games. She led the MIAC in free throw percentage in league games by knocking down 86.4% of her foul shots. Walsh was also in the Top 10 of the MIAC in minutes played, field goals, total free throws and total points.

Walsh's season was highlighted by reaching the 1,000 point mark. She surpassed the 1K milestone on Jan. 11 when she scored 21 points against Carleton. Walsh finished her career with 1,179 points which was No.15 on the school's all-time scoring list.  

Januschka earns MIAC postseason honors for the second straight season. Last year she was placed on the MIAC All-Conference Team.

Januschka appeared in all 18 league games for Concordia and was second on the team in scoring and rebounds. She averaged 10.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during the 2017 conference season. Januschka led the team in minutes played and field goal percentage. She averaged 31.5 minutes per MIAC game and made 53.8% of her shots from the field.

Januschka finished the year by scoring in double figures in five straight games. She had at least 10 points in 11 league games. She put up a season-high 18 points on two occasions. Januschka also collected at least five rebounds in the final seven games of the season and in 11 conference contests. Her top rebound total against an MIAC opponent came against Carleton when she hauled down 10 boards.   

Januschka was ninth in the MIAC in field goal percentage in conference games. She was also second in total free throws and fifth in minutes per game.
