Bio

Kaia Sele is in her second year as assistant coach for the Concordia-Moorhead fastpitch program after finishing her career as one of the best, and most decorated, players in program history.

Sele was a three-time All-MIAC award winner and is the school’s all-time leader in home runs and hits.

She was the team’s starting first baseman for four seasons from 2010-13. She finished her career with 153 hits and 21 home runs – both are program records. Sele had a .381 batting average over the course of her 135-game career. Sele had at least four long balls and 15 runs batted in all four season. She came away with a .443 on-base average and a .649 slugging percentage.  

In her addition to her prowess at the plate, Sele was also one of the anchors for the Cobber defense. She finished her career with a .974 fielding percentage and led the team in total chances and putouts in all four seasons.
