Concordia fell 3-0 to UW-Eau Claire to start the 2012 calendar year. The Cobbers allowed a goal in the seond period and then two more in the third and fell for the fourth time on the year.
Concordia goalie Kelly Andrew stopped 29 shots. Erick Galt and Caleb Suderman had three shots each to lead CC.
CC is now 7-4-3 overall and will host No.5-ranked UW-River Falls on Saturday at 2 p.m.
