Bolger Named To MIAC All-Conference Team

MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/06/14)—Concordia sophomore forward Jordan Bolger was recognized by the MIAC coaches as one of the top players in the league by being named to the MIAC All-Conference Team. Bolger was the team's lone representative on the all-conference list. Tom Fraase was the team's representative on the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Bolger earns MIAC postseason honors for the first time in his career and he is the sixth Cobber player to earn All-Conference First Team honors in the past five seasons.

Bolger led Concordia in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage in 2013-14. He averaged 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and shot 55.5% from the floor in the team's 25 overall games. He scored in double figures in 14 contests and had a career-high 25 points against St. Scholastica on Nov. 13.

Bolger also had great success in conference play. He averaged 12.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and shot 51.7% from the floor in helping Concordia post an 8-12 mark against league opponents. Bolger's top point output in conference play came against St. John's when he scored 22 points. He had a career-high 14 rebounds vs. Bethel on Dec. 14.

Bolger was in the top 10 in 10 different statistical categories in conference play. He was second in offensive rebounds (50), ninth in defensive rebounds (79) and fifth in total rebounds (129). Bolger was ninth in scoring average (12.2 ppg) and seventh in field goals (93). Bolger rounded out his statistical excellence by being 10th in steals (24) and 10th in blocks (12).
