MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/27/13)—Andrew Martinson headlined a group of five Cobber players that was rewarded with MIAC postseason awards for their amazing run through the 2012-13 conference season.

Martinson capped off his record-setting senior by being named the MIAC Sixth Man-of-the-Year and was one of three starters to earn All-Conference honors. Aaron Lindahl and Ebo Nana-Kweson also were placed on the MIAC All-Conference Team while Dewon McKenzie earned All-Defensive Team and All-Conference Honorable Mention honors and Brandon Fisher was the team's representative on the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Martinson broke the school record for career 3-point field goals during the season. He finished the conference season second in the MIAC in total 3-point field goals and 3-point field goal percentage. He came off the bench to give the Cobbers a huge spark on both ends of the court. He was second on the team in scoring with a 12.1 points per game average. He connected on 53 shots from outside the arc and made 48.2% of his 3-point attempts. Martinson scored in double figures in 11 of the final 12 regular-season games and had a career-high 31 points against St. Olaf on Jan. 30.

Lindahl had a remarkable year after spending most of the 2011-12 campaign rehabilitating a season-ending knee injury. Lindahl pulled an "Adrian Peterson" in 2013 and had the best season of his career. He was third on the team in scoring in league games with a 10.5 points per game average and averaged 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Lindahl scored 21 points against three different MIAC foes and had a season-high nine rebounds against Hamline on Jan. 12.

Nana-Kweson was the most consistent Cobber starter during the season. He scored in double figures in 16 conference contests and had at least 15 points on eight occasions. Nana-Kweson led the team in scoring with a 13.7 points per game average. He was second on the team in rebounding (5.2 rpg) and assists (3.0 apg). He finished seventh in the MIAC in total points and assists and was ninth in total field goals (97).

 McKenzie got better and better as the season went along and turned into the top point guard in the MIAC. His ability to create steals and disrupt the opposing team's offense from anywhere inside half court helped Concordia finish the year by holding their opponents to under 70 points in six of the final nine regular-season games. McKenzie averaged 10.4 points and 3.5 assists and had a team-high 34 steals. His most impressive stat line of the year came against St. John's on Feb. 6 when he scored
