Horan Selected To Coach In International Bowl

MOORHEAD, Minn. (1/26/15)—Concordia head coach Terry Horan has been selected to coach the Select Team in the International Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 31 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Tex.

The Select Team will play the World Team in a Jamboree style scrimmage on Thursday, Jan. 29, and an official international competition as sanctioned by the International Federation of American Football on Saturday, Jan. 31.

 

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will host the Jamboree and game. The game is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT, while the Jamboree is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. CT on their respective days.

Horan is one of eight college coaches that were selected to coach in the international all-star game. Rocky Hager, the former North Dakota State University head coach, will be the head coach for the Select Team. Horan was chosen to coach the receivers for the Select Team. Other regional coaches that will be on the sidelines for the Select Team include Kurt Ramler from St. Scholastica and Don Dwaard from Central College in Iowa.

Horan left for the International Bowl on Monday, Jan. 26 and will spend the week coaching players from all over the country. The NCAA recognizes USA football's International Bowl as a national team competition, which allows current NCAA Coaches to serve as instructors.
