Cobbers Host Annual Media Day

Cobbers Host Annual Media Day

Concordia hosted their annual media day event on Thursday. Cobber head coach Terry Horan and several players were interviewed by media personalities from the Fargo Forum and the four TV station in the F-M area.

The Cobbers are coming off a 6-4 season that saw CC finish with a 4-4 mark in conference play. Concordia returns nine starters on defense and seven on offense. The top returning players include preseason All-American offensive lineman Tom Knowlton as well as defensive back Bryce Hentges and nose guard Mark Wychor who were both All-MIAC First team selection in 2011.

One of the biggest question marks for the Cobbers in 2012 will be at quarterback where Horan will have to replace three-year starter Michael Dunham. Dunham broke the school record for all-time passing yards and completions. Concordia has three players vying for the starting job. Sophomores Griffin Neal and Mitch Tauer as well as junior Mark Dunham all have a chance to be under center when CC opens the season on Sept. 1 at Jamestown College.
